A full weekend focused on those looking to begin and solidify their Shibari journey

We are dedicating an entire 8 class intensive weekend to how, we at Oblige, got started on our rope journey.  Classes are intended for not only on those applying rope, but equally important, those that receive rope.

This “Intro to Shibari” intensive weekend will offer these 8 classes plus a Saturday night Shibari Performance with Serene_X & GoldenCourtney, followed by a BDSM Play Party. 

  • -Basic and Fundamental Ties

    -Basics applied: Shapes and patterns created with only the basics

    -Setting intensions: Art/Intimacy/Meditation or Something Darker

    -Flow and Style: Movement, Intensity, Distance

    -Safety, Body Awareness and Harm Reduction

    -Negotiations and Consent

    -How to create a rope scene

    -“Beyond the Basics” ties and implementation 

  • Friday Evening

    -Social hour meet and greet

    -“Basic & Fundamental Ties”

    -Rope Jam Following Class

    Saturday (daytime) -Private for Intensive attendees only

    -Day One: Full day intensive workshop

    Saturday (evening) Public Performance and Play Party for up to 120 people

    -Shibari Performance with Serene_X & GoldenCourtney

    -Kinky AF Play Party

    Sunday (daytime) -Private for Intensive attendees only

    -Day Two: Full day intensive workshop

  • Saturday Night:

    • Doors at 8:00 with Social hour

    • Shibari Performance at 9:00 with Serene_X and GoldenCourtney

    • BDSM Play Party until 1:00am

Weekend Intensive Limited to 20 tying pairs to allow for adequate attention to be given to all attendees.

Pricing is per person. $150 each. To sign up as a tying pair you will need to enter each person’s information separately. This is so we have proper rule acknowledgments and waivers for each person. This intensive is designed for tying pairs.

What you will need for the weekend:
*Rope 3-5 hanks of 7-8 meter rope. We have jute, hemp and POSH for purchase ($12.00-$31ea.) and house rope sets for loan.
*We have large exercise mats for all tying station with floor chairs and cushions.
*Dress however you wish or are comfortable for tying/being tied in the space. Outside of the space please dress “street legal” or “grandma appropriate”.
*Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase however you are welcome to bring your own.

*Friday class and Days 1 & 2 workshop dress for tying or being tied. Athletic clothing or however you are comfortable.

*Saturday’s Performance and Play Party, dress to impress in whatever kinky attire your heart desires. Feel free to be a little extra. This is the place for it!

*Street shoes are not allowed in the space. Some attendees bring separate foot coverings to wear in the space durning classes and party, other folx clean their shoes on entering, some people simply take them off and leave them by the door.

*All sorts of BDSM/Kink play is welcome in the space so feel free to bring such toys and lube (if you’re into that sort of thing)
