Event FAQ
“Boundless Detroit S&M Symposium”
-Presenters- -Class List-
Q: I am planning a scene and want to make sure the planned play is within venue rules. Where can I find the rules?
A: https://www.obligerope.org/boundless-rules
Q: What do I wear / Dress code?
A: For classes, we say something casual/comfy; for rope classes, something you are comfortable in to be tied in. For the parties, we have no dress code; dress however you are comfortable. We often see a wide range of t-shirts and jeans to full fetish gear. Latex, lingerie, leather dresses, and suit coats are all very common. We do encourage folks to enjoy the ability to be a little “extra” at our events. The only strict clothing rule is outside our doors; from car to our door, clothing must be acceptable to public appearance.
Q: Do I bring my own toys?
A: Absolutely! We provide the place and furniture; you provide all restraints and other items needed to facilitate your planned play. We do have a small public toy rack for folks who want to try something new or forgot to bring something for the evening, but we highly encourage patrons to bring their own.
Q: Can I bring my own water bottle? Do you have a water refill station?
A: Absolutely! You may bring any non-alcoholic drinks of your own into the venue. We have bottled water available for purchase or tap water for refill.
Q: Do you provide drinks or vending machines in the venue?
A: We have a fully stocked fridge with all the most popular pop/soda, bottled water, redbull, and iced tea beverage options. These are all available for purchase via cash or Venmo. We also have a snack bar with various candy and snack options available for purchase via cash or Venmo.
Q: Is vaping allowed in the venue?
A: Vaping is allowed within the venue. Smoking, however, is not, and we kindly ask folks to step outside if they need a smoke break. NOTE: Cannabis/THC vapes fall under the “No alcohol or drug use” within our rules: https://www.obligerope.org/boundless-rules
Q: Do you have a bar, is it BYOB, or not allowed?
A: Alcohol is not permitted nor sold within our venue. If you appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, you will be questioned and may be removed from the premises if we feel you are under the influence.
