Consent is the cornerstone of all good kink, sex, connection, collaboration, community, everything really. Oblige, The Arcadia Collective, and The Gallery owners and organizers have decided to come together to encourage a reconnection to the subject and how it supports the foundations of what we do.
In addition to the livestream discussion panel each venue will be hosting a streaming party for participants to continue the conversation in person.
The livestream will be hosted at the Gallery in Lansing but your munch, meetup group, bunch of friends, whomever is invited to host your own conversation.
Event Goals: to communicate how each venue approaches consent, clarify their standards for consensual play, to promote consent based conversations regionally, to encourage cohesion among MI organizers as we collaborate around this issue, to discuss general consent based themes i.e. unsolicited D/s dynamics, scene interruptions, scene negotiations, non scene personal interaction consent, etc.
