January 16th: Rope/Shibari Workshop- “Simple patterns you can actually use and remember” – Week 3 of a 4 Week Intro to Erotic Rope Bondage and Shibari (weeks 1 & 2 not required)
This week we continue our erotic rope bondage journey. This week @Serene_X and @GoldenCourtney will be focusing on motion and intension as we manipulate bodies and apply rope in a way to form classic shibari shapes. Those new to rope will leaner a bit more of what’s possible while experienced practitioners can take a look back at some playful ties that can be re-introduced to your rope scenes.

Celebrating our Four year anniversary with a new experience for some, refresher for others and hopefully some new tricks for the more experienced in the room.
In this class @Flynn_Racer and @-emmie- will focus on minimalistic ties used to start your rope bondage journey or to add to your list of “go to” fun things you can do quickly for floor play, warm ups or add another layer to your dynamic rope scene. With all these ties we will focus on rope handling, flow and holding tensions to increase the confidence and connection for both the person applying rope and the person receiving rope.
January 2nd: Rope/Shibari Workshop “All You Need, to Do All the Things” – Week 1 of a 4 Week Intro to Erotic Rope Bondage and Shibari.
In week 1 of 4 @Serene_X and @GoldenCourtney will be looking at Single Columns, Double Columns and Hojo Cuffs. Several different ways to use these very basic ties to build an erotic rope bondage scene on the floor. Not only are these foundational ties needed for shibari but these are very useful for introducing someone to rope and erotic rope bondage without fancy patterns. It’s just tying people up, down, and to themselves.

December 26th: BDSM/Kink Style Class- “BDSM Negotiations” with @Flynn_Racer & @-emmie-
There’s a lot of talk about around BDSM/Kink/Rope/ Sexual negotiations in our little kink world but not often are the tools and applications of said tools taught in a formal structured way.
Join us at Oblige this week as we explore the do’s and don’ts of negotiating all types of safe(r) play for private one on one and public play. Those that are well experienced as well as those new to this kinky world can benefit from the perspective of @Flynn_Racer and @-emmie-.
December 19th: BDSM/Kink Style Class- “Bootblacking” with @Eternalmaiden
What is bootblacking? Why do we do it? HOW? Where do I start? Amanda (Eternalmaiden) will cover all these questions, and more. Learn how to negotiate for bootblacking, and what kind of tools and products will get you started on your bootblacking journey. There will be some lab time after class for any who want guidance, advice, or even just the camaraderie of fellow bootblacks while you work.
December 5th: BDSM/Kink Style Class- “Needles and Nuance” with Rhapsody & Banana
This class will review materials, prep, cleaning, safety, and appropriate disposal. Additionally @Rhapsody_In_Blue & @Banana_Rampage will dig into the nuances that can be explored in sharps play. There will be a discussion on scene planning, intensity modulation, and maintaining connection with your scene partner during play. While this class will review some of the things covered in basic needle play they will also be going deeper into ways to use sharps with other kinds of play and negotiating higher intensity/riskier scenes.
Before you start playing with needles/sharps (tops and bottoms) we recommend getting educated about, training for, and tested for bloodbourne pathogen. We recommend these sites as reasonably priced resources.
November 29th: Shibari/Rope Workshop- “Basics & Fundamentals” -With Serene_X & GoldenCourtney
This is a FULL workshop dedicated to showing you the basics and helping you learn the fundamental elements of shibari. For those that are brand new to rope, with or without a tying partner, ready to get a solid foundation. People who have “some” rope experience can greatly benefit from this class as well.
For class you will need 2-3 full sections of rope and a couple half sections. The length of your full section is dependent on you. 7-11 meters.
November 14th: Shibari/Rope Workshop- “Basics Applied 301” -With Serene_X & GoldenCourtney
As they have progressed on their rope journey, Serene_X & Golden Courtney have found, that basics and fundamental ties are where their most fulfilling scenes come from. Simply ties, that allow them to stay in their connection with each other, express their passion and not worry so much about the rope. Join them as they demonstrate for the class how they make simple rope, passionate, connective, and alluring.
For class you will need 3-5 full sections of rope and a couple half sections. The length of your full section is dependent on you. 7-11 meters.
November 7th: BDSM/Kink Style Class- “Straitjackets 101” with Athena & B
In this class @AthenaDenial (Athena & B) will explore the evolution of these iconic restraints from their dark history in asylums to their modern day applications in bondage and medical fetish. Through a hands on approach you’ll learn how to incorporate straightjackets into your scenes safely and seductively and are bound to have a good time!
October 24th: BDSM/Kink Style Class- “Foundations of Consensual Kink” with Consent Academy
This is a hybrid workshop. (A virtual presenter for an in-person class)
Whatever kinky play you're into, a practice of consent will lower your risk of harm and increase your chance of pleasure (or pain, if that's what you want). September 19th: Shibari/Rope Workshop- “Rope Play for the Dungeon” with Serene_X & Golden Courtney
We hear time and time again, “my person want’s me to do rope, but it takes too long; I don’t have the patients; it’s not my kink.”
We are here to show you, you don’t need all the fancy patterns to tie your person up in the dungeon, so you can both have your things. This is also a great class for the rope tops amongst us that want to mix a new idea or three into their rope play.
We will be utilizing BDSM play furniture in a variety of ways to demonstrate some easy to learn and remember ties you can carry with you into your home or dungeon scenes.

July 11th: Kink/BDSM Class- “Water Sports” with Serene_X and GoldenCourtney
As we prepare for the official opening of “The Dungeon” at Oblige, we have another edge play class for you. For years Serene_X and GoldenCourtney have been exploring and using Watersports in their dynamic and BDSM play. Around the dungeon, around the house, and in the bedroom. They are here to share their experience, how to’s, and personal connection.
For them this type of play is part erotic, part humiliation, part service, and some times degeneration. As a stand alone fetish or as an enhancement to “everyday” BDSM play, this kink can be edgy as fuck or adorable fun.

@Serene_X and @GlodenCourtney are back for this week’s L.E.A.P. workshop and they are coming in hot with some edge play rope. We will be talking about breath play, exploring some techniques outside of the blood choke and taking a look at a few fun little ties. A one rope restrictive tie, a couple variations on a blood choke tie (intensity optional), and if time allows a rather fun chest harness that does as the class title suggests.
“Safety” first, of course, so you can expect a detail lesson on, establishing a base line before this type of play, what we need to pay attention to, quick releases and best practices to work this into your rope sessions.

Female led relationships, femme tops, and femme dominance are only counter cultural in cultures uncomfortable with female power. Opening this very special weekend Ropeosaur and IPCookieMonster will be starting us off with Strappados/Armbinders.
Whether you call them armbinders or strappados, this tie-along class will teach you a variety of sexy ways to get someone's arms together into suspendable chest harnesses. In this workshop we will be looking at starting a rope bondage scene on the ground, with structurally sound ties, and working the person in rope into a full height suspension. @Flynn_Racer will explore lower lock offs, progressive lifting, “mechanical advantage”, and how to manage our up-lines to effectively and efficiently create the shapes and build the scene we want. This week is all the basics on exploring recreational Needle Play. This class will cover materials, prep, cleaning, safety, and appropriate disposal.
